It began on August 24, 1924 and ran for decades after the death of Harold Gray. Gray wrote novels in comic strip form. His tales were morality plays, parables of good vs. evil, right and wrong, and the strength, courage, foibles, and weaknesses of man. His art is simple, yet dramatic, suspenseful and filled with meaning. Each volume reprints one year. 11x8½ oblong format, 150-plus pages each volume plus square spine color covers.
